LAMACCHIA

John LaMacchia has spent over twenty years as an advertising creative.

During this time, he’s managed to create work for some of the largest B2B, technology and consumer accounts in the world. Starting his career at Ogilvy, New York, working on IBM, Motorola, American Express, and Stoli. Then moving on to AMV BBDO London, where he and his partner ran the BlackBerry and FedEx global accounts, before transferring back to BBDO New York to run AT&T Business and Corporate. Following that was a stint at McCann Worldwide, rebranding Honeywell and launching Verizon Business.

LaMacchia has been recognized at every major award show, including an Emmy nomination for American Express. He now works primarily as a brand consultant and conceptual thinker for major global agencies and technology companies.

Paralleling his work as a creative director LaMacchia continues to grow his fine art practice. Most recently his ‘Birds of America’ series was acquired by The Huntington Museum and Library for their private collection.
